Counts were made of the breeding birds of Foula, Shetland Islands, June-August 1965. They are supposed to give additional and independent information to the survey of the bird life of Foula by Jackson (1966) and Mylne (1966), published on the occasion of the Scottish Bird-Islands Study Cruise, M. V. 'Devonia', 16-22 July 1966, where maps and further geographical details can be found.
